Te Tai Tokerau Party
Tino rangatiratanga. Local, not Wellington. Tino rangatiratanga and local Māori authority. That sits on the left, next to Te Pāti Māori. She will talk to whoever after the vote. That is coalition talk, not the policy.
What they want
- Tino rangatiratanga, local decisions, and mana mokopuna.
- Named after the electorate. The Commission allowed that on 5 August 2026.
- A full policy list is still due. Kapa-Kingi said more will come.
- She has not ruled out talking to National or Labour after the vote.
Things to watch
- She is still an MP, so housing and travel rules apply to her as a person. In Oct-Dec 2025, as an independent, she billed $39,933. That is on MPs' bills, not a party donation.
- They named Kyla Campbell-Kamariera as a list candidate. She used to co-chair Te Pāti Māori's Te Tai Tokerau executive.
Who pays
Not registered in 2025, so there is no 2025 annual return. One named 2026 gift over $20,000: the Stanley Howard Fund, via Richard Allen, $50,000 on 3 September. That is not a full-year total.
